Linda Tan
Daughter, Sengkang
My mother moved into Copperleaf eight months ago and the change in her mood has been remarkable. She enjoys the garden walks and has made friends at the dining table. The nurses know her preferences — her favourite tea, the newspaper she reads — and that level of attention means a lot to our family.

Son, Punggol
We used the Companion Care Stay when I needed to travel for work and couldn't leave my father alone. He was nervous at first, but the staff were so welcoming that he asked if he could come back the next time. That says more than any review I could write.

Catherine Wong
Daughter-in-law, Hougang
What I appreciate most is how honestly the team communicates. When my father-in-law had a difficult week, they called us and talked through it — no sugarcoating, just genuine concern and a plan. That transparency built real trust.

Ahmad Noor
Son, Tampines
My mother joined the Lantern Walk Evening Programme and it has become the highlight of her week. She talks about the garden walks and the music sessions with such enthusiasm. The evening timing suits her perfectly — she has always been more of an evening person.

Susan Lee
Daughter, Ang Mo Kio
The introductory stay was what convinced us. My dad spent five days at Copperleaf before we committed, and he felt comfortable enough to stay. The garden is lovely, the rooms are clean, and the food is genuinely good — not just institutional meals.

Priya Goh
Granddaughter, Serangoon
My grandmother has been at Copperleaf for over a year now. She is not the most social person, and the staff respect that. They do not push her to join every activity — they let her read in the parlour or sit quietly in the garden. That understanding means everything to her.

Care Stories
A closer look at how Copperleaf has supported some of our residents and their families.
Finding Routine Again After a Loss
The Situation
After losing his wife of 52 years, Mr Ong, 81, became withdrawn and struggled with daily routines at home. His daughter worried about his nutrition and emotional state living alone.
How Copperleaf Helped
Mr Ong moved into residential care and was gently introduced to the community at his own pace. Staff gave him space when he needed it and company when he was ready. The shared dining room became a turning point — he began eating regular meals with others.
Where He Is Now
Six months later, Mr Ong participates in evening music sessions and has formed a friendship with another resident who shares his interest in Chinese chess. His daughter notices he smiles more often than he has in a long time.
A Bridge During a Difficult Period
The Situation
Mrs Pereira's husband was admitted to hospital for surgery, leaving her — a 78-year-old with moderate mobility challenges — alone at home for what would be a three-week recovery period. Her children lived overseas.
How Copperleaf Helped
Mrs Pereira used the Companion Care Stay. She joined the community's routines, shared meals, and joined an afternoon craft session. The nursing team monitored her mobility and provided gentle physiotherapy support.
The Outcome
When her husband recovered, Mrs Pereira returned home with improved confidence in her walking. She later enrolled in the Lantern Walk Evening Programme to stay connected with the friends she made during her stay.
