Our Care Solutions
Three thoughtfully designed programmes, each shaped by the belief that care should adapt to the person — never the other way around.
← Back to HomeOur Approach to Care
At Copperleaf, every programme begins with a conversation — not an assessment form. We sit down with families and, where possible, with the senior themselves, to understand their daily routines, their preferences, what brings them comfort, and what concerns them. This conversation shapes everything that follows.
Our care is delivered by a stable, dedicated team who invest the time to know each person well. Whether it is residential care, a short companion stay, or evening sessions, the standard is the same: attentive, respectful, and genuinely warm. We believe quality care happens in the small moments — a cup of tea made just right, a familiar face greeting you each morning, a garden walk at a pace that feels comfortable.
Evening of Life Residential Care
A full-time care programme designed with a deep respect for the later chapters of life. The philosophy centres on honouring each resident's story — their experiences, values, relationships, and wishes — as the foundation for daily care. Support encompasses all personal and medical needs, delivered by a consistent team of nurses and aides who invest time in knowing each person well.
Communal spaces are designed for both togetherness and solitude: a shared dining room, a reading parlour, a music corner, and a sheltered garden with lantern-lit pathways. Families are considered essential partners and are involved in all aspects of care planning. Evening routines include a choice of quiet activities — music listening, gentle conversation, or simply sitting in the garden.
- 24-hour nursing care and personal support
- Individual care plans reviewed regularly with families
- Communal dining, reading, music, and garden spaces
- Evening activity choices for quieter hours
- Medication management and health monitoring
Companion Care Stay
A short-term residential option for seniors who would benefit from companionship and structured support during times when they might otherwise be alone — for instance, when a spouse is hospitalised or when adult children are travelling. Stays range from three days to three weeks.
The focus is on providing a warm, sociable environment rather than intensive medical care, though nursing support is available as needed. Guests join the community's daily routines, share meals, and participate in activities. The goal is to ensure that being temporarily without a usual companion does not mean being without company, conversation, and care.
- Stays from 3 days to 3 weeks
- Full integration into daily community life
- Shared meals and social activities
- Nursing support available if needed
- Warm, sociable atmosphere
Lantern Walk Evening Programme
A unique early-evening programme offered twice per week, designed for seniors who are more alert and sociable in the late afternoon and evening hours. Sessions begin with a leisurely guided walk through the garden — or indoor corridors during rain — followed by a light supper and a choice of evening activities.
Activities include stargazing talks, gentle music sessions, film screenings, or quiet reading circles. The programme runs from late afternoon to early evening and includes transport coordination for participants who live nearby. Staff provide mobility support and supervision throughout. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate, offering a meaningful alternative to daytime programming.
- Twice-weekly sessions in the late afternoon and evening
- Guided garden walks with mobility support
- Light supper and choice of evening activities
- Transport coordination for nearby participants
- Relaxed, intimate group setting
